Where Stratford residents can watch live screenings of the Queen's funeral

Stratford Editorial 15th Sep, 2022   0

HOLY Trinity Church in Stratford is putting on a screening of the Queen’s funeral for all the community.

The doors of the church will open at 10.15am on Monday (September 19) for the late Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, which is due to commence at 11am.

It is hoped the screening will provide an opportunity for members of the community to unite and mourn together, especially if they would have otherwise been home alone for the event.

The book of condolence is still available in the church to sign each day apart from funeral day, following royal protocol.

A separate screening of the funeral is taking place at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford.

Tickets are free and are available on a first come, first served basis.

Members of the public can book tickets from today (Thursday) via rsc.org.uk or in person from the RSC’s Box Office. Alternatively, they can book by phone from 12 noon by calling 01789 331111.
