KNITTING needles have been busy clacking in Warwick for Halloween.

Over 140 hand-knitted pumpkins created by the town’s Knit and Natter group and are on display in the windows of the Market Hall Museum, alongside ghosts, witches, mice and spiders.

Victoria Goodall-Barber, the museum’s visitor services and operations officer, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Kathryn and our wonderful Knit and Natter group. Their creativity has brought something truly special to the museum this half term.”

The Knit and Natter group meet every first and third Tuesday of the month at the museum. All are welcome from beginners to experts and it is free to attend. The group knits for lots of community projects and is always looking for wool donations, which can be dropped off at the museum.
