TRUSTEES are wanted at Stratford Town Trust.
Nominations are invited from its membership for five trustee positions. The Trust is looking for people who are passionate about supporting the local community and understand the issues that affect it.
The grant giving charity typically distributes around £2million each year to good causes and the town’s schools and college. It brings the community together at its Community Hub, cares for Stratford Local Nature Reserve and Rowley Fields, runs a free programme of summer concerts on the Bandstand and is custodian of The Guild Chapel.
The trustee role offers an opportunity to contribute to the Trust’s vision of creating a vibrant and connected community in Stratford and nominations are welcomed from members of all backgrounds, including young people, and those who bring lived experience or knowledge of activities undertaken in the programmes the Trust funds.
No prior trustee experience is necessary and nominations are open until March 27.
