Transformation planned for Henley College

PLANS to transform the former Henley College site are expected to be submitted to Stratford District Council in the coming months.

Warwickshire College Group have agreed terms with Octopus Health Care Ltd to purchase 13 acres of the 27 acre site.

The remaining 14 acres, which includes the Sports Hall and playing fields, will continue to be operated by the college group.

The site has been part of the group since 2003 was able to offer up to 900 places on a variety of courses, including hair and beauty and sports studies. But over recent years less than a third of the places have been filled.
