Traffic jams after car fire and lorry crash near Warwick Services

A CAR fire and lorry crash near Warwick services has caused huge traffic jams.

The car set alight on the southbound carriageway of the M40 after a crash with a lorry at Junction 13 for Bishops Tachbrook and Junction 12 for Gaydon.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 11.30am and West Midlands Ambulance Service said there is one patient ‘walking wounded’.

Highways England held traffic while the incident was dealt with but it is now believed to be moving slowly.




They say it delays are currently about 30 minutes but they do not expect traffic to return to normal until around 5pm.
