THREE more warm hubs have opened their doors permanently in Stratford district.
The three hubs started out as temporary winter warm hubs set up by Warwickshire Rural Community Council and will now run all year round.
The new hubs are in Stratford, Studley and Combrook.
Warm hubs provide a place for people to meet and chat as well as access free advice on everything from energy saving to home safety.
WRCC Warm Hubs manager Jackie Holcroft said: “We know there are many people who may be feeling lonely at home and are nervous about going to new places. With a warm hub, you can drop in for a quick chat over a cup of tea or stay to make new friends, and maybe play cards, do a jigsaw, or try some crafting.
“Each hub has different activities and you can always suggest your own ideas. Most importantly, everyone’s made to feel welcome and part of the community, so why not give it a go.”
