A NEW manager has taken the reins at Stratford BID.
Aaron Corsi has taken the top job at Stratford Business Improvement District as it embarks on a new 5-year term from 2024 to 2029.
With the recent confirmation from the government that they will be upholding this year’s BID ballot result, the appointment of Aaron comes at a pivotal moment.
The 43-year-old Warwick resident was formerly employed as the service manager for place, projects, and partnerships at Warwickshire County Council.
Aaron’s focus will be championing and supporting local businesses, fostering a safe and welcoming environment, and promoting inclusivity across the town.
His vision includes showcasing the town’s diverse offerings and ensuring that Stratford remains an inviting destination for all.
Drawing on his background in town centre activation and event management, Aaron will spearhead collaborative efforts with key stakeholders and the community to curate an engaging calendar of festivals and events.
Aaron said “I’m delighted to be able to support the town, its businesses and both the residents and visitors. The town is rich in history, it has a unique appeal and its position in the county is one of strength already.
“The town has something for everyone to enjoy, residents and visitors alike. I want to use my positive attitude and expertise in running events and working with people across Warwickshire to shine a light on what is already great in the town and help to showcase opportunities our businesses can capitalise on.
“I am a person who thrives on positivity, making the most of what we have and sharing the responsibility for making our places better. I’m really looking forward to building on business relationships and creating new relationships in the town. I would like to extend my arms out for help from the businesses and residents in the town to support me as the new BID manager. I’m a firm believer that no single organisation or business can do it on their own and the BID can help coordinate a positive direction for the town, the BID and its businesses should lead by example in creating a town everyone is proud of all year round.”
BID chair Rich Jones added: “We are delighted to welcome Aaron into the role and have no doubt that with his energy, experience, and positive enthusiasm he will be a great asset to the town. Aaron brings with him a wealth of knowledge and has been supporting local towns in Warwickshire over the last nine years.
“Stratford BID has an exciting future and we look forward to seeing Aaron support our businesses, deliver the initiatives detailed within the new five-year BID business plan and help to push forward the future development of the town.”
