TEAM work has led to a Shipston care home receiving an ‘outstanding’ rating.
Low Furlong Care Home in Darlingscote Road now falls within the top five per cent of care homes in England after receiving an outstanding CQC rating.
Leanne Braham, Home Manager for Low Furlong, said her team had worked exceptionally hard to put strategies and processes in place to further improve the service and were delighted to see the hard work from everyone in the home reflected in their new official rating.
She said: “We have all worked so hard over the last few years at Low Furlong and we are absolutely over the moon to have achieved an outstanding rating with CQC. I believe that resident, relative and staff involvement in the daily operations has really contributed to our success.
“I am thrilled to have led the team through change and now we are proud to share our success within the home, the community and our health care professionals.”
The CQC report was published on January 25 following an inspection in December.
