MUSICA Youth Orchestra is tuning up for a ‘Summer Evening of Classical Music’ at Holy Trinity Church in Stratford this week.
The young musicians, conducted by Thom Meredith, will be staging the event at the riverside church on Friday (July 22) from 7pm and entrance is free.
Musical highlights to listen out for include Gershwin’s ‘An American in Paris Suite’, ‘Nimrod’ English Variations, composed by Elgar, ‘Fantasia on a Theme’ by Vaughan Williams and Corelli’s ‘Concerto Grosso for Springs Op 6 no.4’.
