Stratford youngsters create skip art

THERE’S no such thing as rubbish art as green-minded Stratford youngsters set out to prove.

A Skip Art Community Day saw sustainability meet creativity when it was held on the Bancroft Gardens on Friday May 16.

The event, hosted by Budget Waste, brought together local primary school pupils who repurposed and painted waste skips with eco-themed designs.

The aim was to turn industrial objects into bold, visual statements on sustainability and waste awareness, as well as to showcase how young voices are contributing to conversations around waste, recycling, and the environment.

Budget Waste is a family-run skip hire business based in Honeybourne, which was founded in 2000 and has sustainability as its ethos.
