STRATFORD residents can get free admission to all of the Shakespeare’s houses this summer.
Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is continuing its Residents Go Free scheme to Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and Shakespeare’s New Place Garden.
The scheme allows residents to explore the life, times and work of William Shakespeare across three Shakespeare family sites, providing fun, informative and free days out to all those with a permanent CV37 postcode. Since the scheme started in spring 2025 over 5,000 residents have already taken advantage of the offer.
SBT chief executive Rachael North said: “With events and activities taking place throughout the summer, we are pleased to continue to offer permanent Stratford residents free access to Shakespeare’s homes. I hope the CV37 community takes advantage of the opportunity to explore our shared heritage together and make new connections at our sites.”
