Stratford moped rider banned from road for drink driving

A DRINK driver from Stratford has been banned from the road after failing to provide a breath test.

Thirty-six-year-old Adrian Calota from Sloe Court was arrested at 6.40pm on December 15 when police were called to a damage only collision on Alcester Road involving him riding a moped.

After police arrived they requested a roadside breath test and after four failed attempts where officers believe he was not blowing into the tube, he was arrested and later charged.

Appearing at Leamington Magistrates Court, Calota was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £230 and ordered to pay £135 costs and a £92 victim surcharge for failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
