A WARNING has been issued after handmade spiking devices were put on taxi ranks in Stratford.
Stratford District Council has urged taxi drivers to be on their guard after the spikes caused damage to the types of several Licenced Hackney Carriages.
There are also concerns the spiking devices could pose a severe danger to the safety of pedetrians as well as other vehicles.
Warwickshire Police is aware and is asking anyone who sees or finds a devise to report it by dialling 101.
If anyone is seen placing items like this on the ground call 999.
