A COLLABORATION with a Hollywood actor was sure to have left Shipston High School students feeling butterflies.
In fact – their reaction was more than fitting as four year 8 students worked with Game of Thrones and Star Wars actor Anton Lesser to film a video to promote a charity butterfly event.
Computer studies students Isla, Abigail, Layla and Emily, along with their teacher Ella Rivetts, joined the actor at Blackberry Farm in Halford to film a video about the memorial butterflies Shipston Home Nursing is selling.
Fundraising manager Kate Bamford said: “The students did an excellent job, demonstrating great skill and enthusiasm. It’s wonderful to see the community coming together to support such a meaningful cause. By purchasing a metal butterfly, you can honour a loved one at our Blackberry Farm butterfly event.
“The butterflies will be displayed in a dedicated area next month, each featuring a personalised message tag, and will be yours to keep afterwards. Everyone buying a butterfly will be entered into a draw to win a two-night stay in Warwickshire’s only tree house holiday home at Winchcombe Farm.”
