RSC actors have their method acting down to a tee

ACTORS from the RSC have been getting their method acting down to a tee.

Members of the cast of the current production of Love’s Labour’s Lost descended on Welcombe Hotel Golf Course in Stratford in full costume on Wednesday (May 1).

The onstage production features a scene set on a golf course, and the visit to the Welcome Hotel green was to help the actors maintain their golfing skills. An instructor with a golf buggy and clubs gave them a mini golf lesson to hone their technique.

The actors who took part were Melanie-Joyce Bermudez, Nathan Foad, Sarita Gabony, Tony Gardner, Amy Griffiths, Ioanna Kimbook, and Jordan Metcalfe.

Love’s Labour’s Lost is the first production to be programmed in the inaugural season of the RSC’s new co-artistic directors Daniel Evans and Tamara Harvey. It plays in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre until May 18.
