Residents invited to Legacy Open Evening at The Shakespeare Hospice

Stratford Editorial 5th Oct, 2023   0

RESIDENTS are being invited to a special Legacy Open Evening at The Shakespeare Hospice to celebrate Make a Will Month.

The aim of the event on October 19 is to shed light on the significance of leaving a legacy gift, and how attendees can make a lasting impact on the work the hospice does in the community.

During the evening, legal experts from Jackson West, Hall Reynolds, and Davisons Law will share their invaluable insights and expertise on various topics, including the importance of writing and updating a will, inheritance tax and the benefits of leaving a gift to The Shakespeare Hospice.

Attendees will have an opportunity to tour the hospice’s facilities, meet the hospice team and gain firsthand knowledge of the vital role the hospice plays in supporting those in south Warwickshire affected by life-limiting illnesses.

Hospice spokesperson Charlie Hattersley said: “Our community are living longer with more complex health needs, which is increasing the demand for our services each year. Gifts in Wills help us to plan with confidence, allowing us to thoroughly prepare for the challenges that lie ahead. Any gift, regardless of size, makes a huge difference to our patients and their loved ones.”

The Legacy Open Evening will take place from 6pm to 7.30pm at The Shakespeare Hospice in Shottery.
