QUINTON residents have voted in favour of their Neighbourhood Plan.
The villagers went to the polls last Thursday (January 19) to cast their vote for or against the neighbourhood plan in a referendum.
The question asked was – “Do you want Stratford-on-Avon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Quinton to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”
The number of votes cast in favour of Yes was 267
The number of votes cast in favour of No was 30.
The total number of ballot papers issued was 297.
The turnout was 14.1 per cent, out of a total electorate of 2,106.
