YOUNGSTERS at Wilmcote Primary School have been ‘Joining Hands Against Hate’.
Pupils met with victim support workers who support young victims or witnesses of crime.
An assembly taught the children about hate crime and afterwards they were each given a paper ‘gingerbread man’ to decorate to each represent themselves. Their work was then put together to show, understand and love differences.
The youngsters also put their fingerprints on a picture which will be displayed in the school to show hate crime will not be tolerated.
