POLICE in Stratford believe an assault and an arson attack could involve the same suspects.
A woman had a can thrown at her by a female causing a cut to her eye at around 6.15pm on Wednesday March 13. The incident occurred outside the White Swan Hotel in Rother Street.
Officers are appealing for the victim of the attack to make contact as well as anyone who witnessed the incident.
Then at around 8.25pm the fire brigade responded to a report of a fire at the public toilets in Waterside.
