Playtime at Bridgetown Primary School in Stratford just got better

PUPILS at Bridgetown Primary School in Stratford can now play outside whatever the weather.

An outdoor play shelter has been donated to the school by Orbit Homes, which has been set up in The Aviary.

The Aviary is a space used by Key Stage 1 children in need of extra support with their development who are part of the school’s Nuture Group.

The new shelter has taken pride of place in the group’s outdoor play area alongside a potted garden.

Sally Newman, Nurture Lead at The Aviary, said: “We can’t thank Orbit Homes enough for their generous donation of the outdoor play shelter to Bridgetown School Nurture space. We work very closely with children who may need more help socially and emotionally and one of the ways to help these children is through role play. The outdoor play shelter is the perfect space to encourage role play and will enable us to be in outside in all weathers.”

Colin Dean, Midlands Sales and Marketing Director at Orbit Homes, added: “At Orbit Homes we aim to make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work, which is why we were so pleased to donate the outdoor play shelter and contribute to the wellbeing of the children at Bridgetown Primary School.”
