THERE was quacking good fun down at the river in Stratford at the weekend.
Thousands of yellow plastic ducks were released into the Avon for the annual duck race organised by Stratford Rotary Club.
Feathers flew as participants urged their ducks along the course starting from Lucy’s Weir opposite Holy Trinity Church on Saturday (August 26).
And ducks crossing the finish line first were awarded a cash prize for their owners.
Competitors could purchase their ducks for just £2 with all the cash raised going to the Shakespeare Hospice and other rotary charities.
There was also a raffle held on the day to bank even more funds for good causes.
The grand total raised is still being totted up.
