A FLIPPIN’ great time was had by all when the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Day races took over Alcester town centre.
Crowds lined the streets to cheer on the runners on Tuesday February 23 as they charged along flipping their pancakes.
Organised by Alceser Court Leet, there were a host of race categories with local pubs and businesses all battling it out.
Then it was over to the youngsters with races for parents and toddlers, nurseries and all the local schools.
A ladies race served as the finale.
This year’s event was the second back since the pandemic.
