BETTER flippin’ late than never!
Warwick Rotary Club’s annual pancake races took over the town on Tuesday – a week after Shrove Tuesday due to the schools’ half-term.
And children from eight local primary schools grabbed a frying pan and battled it out around Market Square, cheered on by their parents, classmates and spectators.
The grown-ups were also invited to join in, including local businesses.
This year’s event was again supported by Tesco, providing the prizes, The Globe supplying hot pancakes, while local pubs and coffee shops provided warm drinks.
A trophy was awarded to each winning team.
