CLEAR skies and sunshine delighted visitors as the Midlands Air Festival returned to Ragley Hall.
Set in the historic estate near Alcester, this year’s festival started on Friday with a dazzling afternoon and evening nightfire show.
There was more than 100 hot air balloons, an international air display and, as darkness fell, a pyrotechnic air display with aircraft trailing fireworks from their wing tips and the famous fireglow of balloons lit up by their burners, with 30ft flames adding to the spectacle.
All of that was topped off by a big firework finale.
The air display on Saturday featured the RAF Red Arrows with their new-season dynamic displays, the historic warbirds of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the RAF falcons mass parachute team and many more attractions making up a six-hour cavalcade of all types of display aircraft.
Visitors also enjoyed a range of food and drink amid fun for all the family.
