A WARNING of low water levels has gone out to boat users on the River Avon.
Avon Navigation Trust has reported that due to the unusually low rainfall this summer, the Environmental Agency gauges are indicating the river is “below normal range” at a number of locations, including the stretch between Evesham and Stratford.
The stretch of water currently remains open without restrictions, but river users are urged to take care to avoid grounding.
