A BUTTERFLY installation remembered loved ones while raising vital funds for Shipston Home Nursing.
Supporters were invited to purchase a hand-crafted metal butterfly to feature in the butterfly installation at Blackberry Farm in Halford.
The butterflies, each with its own personalised message, were on display in a dedicated area between Friday July 12 and Monday July 15.
They could then be collected from the Shipston Home Nursing office in Shipston or posted.
Shipston Home Nursing cares for patients with illnesses that do not respond to curative treatment and who wish to be nursed at home. The service covers Shipston, Wellesbourne, Kineton and the surrounding villages and is completely free of charge.
It costs around £550,000 to fund the charity each year and 93 per cent of this income is self-generated.
