THERE were tailbacks along the A46 between Stratford and Alcester this morning (Tuesday) following a collision.
Two cars were involved in the crash on the Alcester Road near the Temple Grafton turn-off at just before 8am.
A woman and child in one vehicle were treated at the scene by West Midlands Ambulance but did not require further treatment.
The road was closed in both directions and traffic queues spanned from the A422 in Stratford to the A435 Oversley Mill roundabout in Alcester.
Motorists were advised to find other routes or face long delays.
The vehicles blocking the road were recovered at around 10,30am and the road was reopened to traffic.
