Light Up a Life for The Shakespeare Hospice

THE Shakespeare Hospice is giving families the chance to remember loved ones this Christmas.

People can dedicate a light on the town’s tree in honour of the hospice’s Light Up a Life campaign.

Each donation will dedicate a light on Christmas tree in Stratford and also on the Shakespeare Hospice tree in Shottery.

The money raised will go towards the hospice’s Children’s Bereavement Service which offers support to youngsters who have been bereaved or are facing the loss of a loved one.

A spokeswoman from the hospice said: “Dedications can be for anyone that you wish to Light up a Life for – they needn’t have been cared for by the hospice for you to remember them this way.

“Following your donation you will receive a Christmas tree decoration for your own tree, bearing the name of your loved one. Their name will also be written in to the Book of Remembrance which will be available to view throughout December at The Shakespeare Hospice and also at the Light Up a Life Remembrance Services.”

Remembrance services will be held on Sunday (December 4) at 4pm at Shottery-based hospice and Sunday December 11 at 4pm at Holy Trinity Church.
