SPINE-tingling lantern tours are set to light up the dark evenings at Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall in Stratford.
Jeremiah Pinchbeck, the colourful 18th century character who was once a caretaker of the building, will guide visitors around the ancient halls, rekindling stories of the past.
Jeremiah will be hosting two special after hours evenings during the festive season – on Wednesday (December 14) and Saturday December 31 and from January, every fortnight until the spring months.
Tickets include a welcome Mulberry Gin Fizz or sparkling Elderflower.
Alistair Goddon, Operations Manager at Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall, said: “Our after hours character tours are a new and incredibly atmospheric way to explore Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall. They’ve also very much been created as an experience to enjoy as a social occasion with friends and family, with drinks and treats included – in fact what could be a better start to your New Year’s Eve celebrations.”
Doors open at 6:30pm and tickets cost £25 per person.
