JEREMY Hunt has visited Warwick Hospital to congratulate staff and find out more about working in a busy trust.
The Secretary of State for Health visited South Warwickshire Foundation Trust (SWFT) – which also runs Leamington, Stratford and Shipston hospitals – to meet with some of the staff.
After his visit on Wednesday (February 15) he took to twitter to applaud the service.
He wrote: “Great to see real teamwork and strong leadership at SWFT – keeping patients safe throughout a very difficult winter – many congratulations to staff.”
And the trust’s chief executive Glen Burley also took to social media.
He said: “Much appreciated visit today from Jeremy Hunt.He spent lots of time listening to our amazing staff and felt the positive culture.”
