Grandmother who died in Gaydon crash named

AN ELDERLY lady who died following a car crash in Gaydon has been named.

Elizabeth Anne Roberts, aged 80 from Banbury, suffered serious injuries when the vehicle she was in crashed on the B4451 at about 6pm on Wednesday (February 15). She died in hospital the following morning.

Her family said: “It is with great sadness we announce the tragic loss of Elizabeth Anne Roberts, a much loved mother and grandmother.

“We would like to thank family and friends for their kind words of comfort and support at this time.




“We would also like to thank the emergency services who helped Anne at the scene and the staff in both Accident and Emergency and the Critical Care Unit at University Hospital Coventry who looked after her following the collision.”
