THE FUNERAL of Bethany Hill has taken place.

A committal service was held at Oakley Wood Crematorium on Friday (March 11) with close friends and family of the 20-year-old wearing bright colours.

It was followed by a memorial service at Kingdom Hall in Evesham.

Friends of the popular youngster also held a wake in celebration of her life at The Frog in Bidford.

Flowers were sent from Bidford Bridge down the River Avon as part of a special ceremony during the late afternoon.

The former Stratford College pupil was found by police at an address in Hertford Road on February 3 with neck wounds.

Two people have since been charged with her murder and are expected to stand trial in August.
