A FREE school uniform swap is taking place in Stratford.
Families are invited to donate and collect good-quality uniform, bags and shoes from Stratford Town Trust’s Community Hub until August 28.
The swap covers uniform for all local schools and is already proving popular since opening. Items accepted include clothing in good, clean condition, footwear, and school bags suitable for all ages.
Felicity Luxmoore, Stratford Town Trust Community Hub manager, said: “We know that school uniform costs can really add up, especially over the summer. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for families to either pass on what they no longer need or find something for the year ahead – and it’s brilliant to see how many people have already got involved.”
The uniform swap is running from the Community Hub at Venture House, Avenue Farm Industrial Estate Monday to Thursday from 9am until 4pm and on Fridays from 9am until 1pm.
