KEEPING active in Stratford is going hand in hand with keeping healthy.
GP surgeries across the district have teamed up with leisure provider Everyone Active to ensure everyone who has a free NHS health check is given a free one day gym pass.
Patients at Southam Surgery, St Wulfstan Surgery, Bidford Health Centre, Arden Medical Centre, Trinity Court Surgery and Bridge House Medical Centre will all be given a pass to trial Southam Leisure Centre and Stratford Leisure Centre.
Health Checks look at overall health and are available to adults aged from 40 to 74 without a pre-existing medical condition. They are designed to spot the early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, dementia, and type two diabetes.
