A FLIPPIN’ great time is in store when the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Day races take over Alcester town centre.
Crowds are expected to line the streets to cheer on the runners on Tuesday February 23 as they charge along flipping their pancakes.
Organised by Alceser Court Leet, there will be a host of race categories with local pubs and businesses all set to battle it out.
Then it will be over to the youngsters with races for parents and toddlers, nurseries and all the local schools.
A ladies race will serve as the finale.
Last year’s event was the first back since the pandemic and 2023’s pancake extravaganza looks set to be just as popular.
