Elderly cyclist who died in crash near Stratford named

A ELDERLY cyclist has died following a crash with a motorbike near Stratford.

The smash – between a pushbike and a blue Suzuki motorbike – happened on Wellesbourne Road at the junction with Pimlico Lane around 4pm on Saturday (October 14).

Cyclist David Perryman, age 68 and from Bristol died while the 60-year-old motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries.

Specialist officers are supporting the cyclist’s family.




Anyone with any information or who saw the vehicles beforehand should call 101 and speak to police.
