A DRIVER was seriously injured in a crash near Wellesbourne.
The collision, between a black Citroen and grey Audi, took place at around 5.30am on Friday August 22 near the Lotus Engineering building.
Road closures were in place while emergency services were in attendance.
The driver of the Citroen sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Witnesses should call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 33 of 22 August.
