Doggy double hoping to find paw-fect match

A TENNIS-ball loving doggy double are hoping to find a match with owners who will serve up lots of fuss and love.

Old-age duo Gromit, 14 and Bramble, 12 are not quite as spritely as some of the Wimbledon competitors, but still enjoy a spot of training and attention from human fans.

The crossbreed team, who are waiting at Dogs Trust in Kenilworth to meet their fans, are looking for a quiet home.

Both are housetrained and can be around children and another dog.

Rehoming manager Sandra Foulds said: “Gromit and Bramble really are a devoted doggy duo and work really well as a team. They are the best of friends and would love the chance to win the heart of a new owner.

“As an older pair, they are now looking for someone who can appreciate their star potential and allow them to put their paws up in their twilight years.

“Taking on a doggy duo can be extremely rewarding – whilst it’s double the responsibility, you will also find that it’s double the love.”

The pair are currently in temporary foster care so potential new owners will need to call the centre on 0300 303 0292 before visiting.
