HOUSEHOLDERS in Stratford will be able to collect deliveries on Sunday from this weekend.
Royal Mail’s Stratford delivery office on Maybrook Road will open on Sundays from 11am to 3pm.
Royal Mail’s network of around 1,200 delivery offices is currently open six days a week and around half of its customer service points are open later on Wednesday evenings. In addition, around 289 of its busiest offices are now open on Sundays.
Liz Law, Royal Mail’s operations director, said: “We are continuing to be more responsive to our customers and are providing even more options for people to receive items they have ordered online. Our extended opening hours initiative and additional Sunday openings is just one of the ways we are transforming our business to be more customer focused.”
