Criminals planning on carrying out further offences could have cut phone lines

POLICE say criminals could have cut phone lines in Alcester with the intention to commit further offences.

Lines in a BT box next to Henley Road, Mappleborough Green, were cut on Friday April 14, leaving some businesses without phone or internet connections.

Officers said it could have been done with plans to commit further crime in the area.
