GLOW sticks will be at the ready when Classic Ibiza returns to Ragley Hall in July.

And yet again the dance-tastic event will be held in support of The Shakespeare Hospice.

Classic Ibiza takes place in the grounds of Ragley Hall on Saturday July 1 and will feature over five hours of Balearic-infused house music headlined by the 32-piece Urban Soul Orchestra.

This will be the second consecutive year that the family-friendly event has partnered with The Shakespeare Hospice – a charity that provides care and support to people, families and their carers, living with life limiting illnesses across south Warwickshire.

Based in Stratford, the Hospice’s reach also extends into the local community and patients’ homes. The clinical team do not just provide end of life care – they also offer compassionate support to over a 1,000 patients and their families every year throughout their journey.

The Shakespeare Hospice’s spokeswoman, Karen Davies, said: “Once again, we are delighted to be the charity of choice for Classic Ibiza. Last year’s event raised an incredible £8,000 for the Hospice, which would be enough to pay for two hours of care and support to 100 patients, and their loved ones, in the local community who are impacted by a life-limiting illness.

“We look forward to another fantastic evening this year, where we hope to raise even more money for our vital clinical services. On behalf of all of the staff and patients at The Shakespeare Hospice, we offer our sincerest thanks to the whole Classic Ibiza team for their continued support.”

There will be various fundraising initiatives taking place on the evening, including a £2.50 donation from every programme sold, a recommended £5 donation from press and guest-list entries, as well as collection points at all entry and exit gates. Further funds will be raised at The Shakespeare Hospice shop, selling a range of fun merchandise.

Classic Ibiza’s Lisa Ward added: “The fantastic support that The Shakespeare Hospice provides is truly inspiring. With our show at Ragley once again due to sell out, we hope to raise even more money to help them continue their amazing work.”

Gates open at Ragley Hall at 5.30pm, with the show starting with a Chill-Out DJ Set. Former Pacha Ibiza resident, DJ Jose Luis will then take control of the decks for his Afro/Latin House Set. Next up, USO and DJ Goldierocks will take centre stage for the Sundowner set, followed by Goldierocks’ House DJ Set.

The show will then reach a crescendo as USO return to the stage for the Dance Set, accompanied by an a laser and light show.
