Christmas shoppers in south Warwickshire urged to Shop Where it Matters

CHRISTMAS shoppers are being urged to support The Shakespeare Hospice’s new retail campaign.

Shop Where It Matters is designed to inspire residents to support its hospice shops across south Warwickshire during the busy festive period.

At a time when many shoppers are turning to online resale platforms, the campaign aims to highlight the unique value of shopping locally – great prices, sustainable gifting, and the knowledge that every purchase directly supports hospice care for patients and families in the area.

Running across the hospice’s network of seven retail shops, Shop Where It Matters highlights the real impact of each sale. Whether it’s clothing, books, furniture, or homeware, every item bought in-store helps fund vital hospice services, including Hospice at Home, Children and Family Support Services and Therapy Services.

Becky Fuller, retail operations manager at The Shakespeare Hospice, said: “Christmas is such an important time for our shops. Every year, we see people rediscover the joy of choosing gifts in person, finding something with real character, and knowing their purchase will help someone locally. Shop Where It Matters reminds us that our high streets, our community, and our hospice all benefit when people shop close to home.”

The Shakespeare Hospice has shops in Stratford, Alcester, Bidford, Henley and Wellesbourne.
