Butterfly walks set to bank cash for Shipston Home Nursing

NATURE-lovers are being invited on a butterfly walk to bank cash for Shipston Home Nursing.

Butterfly walks are set to take place at Blackberry Farm in Shipston throughout July.

Visitors can book an individual time to follow the one-and-a-half mile walk around Blackberry Farm’s fields, enjoying uninterrupted views across the Stour Valley. The walk, situated between Halford and Honington, along mown paths through fields brimming with butterflies also features a competition for children to spot and count wooden animal sculptures dotted around the paths.

Walkers may spot many British native butterflies including Marbled Whites, Meadow Browns, Ringlets and Gatekeepers, Small

Tortoiseshells, Peacocks, Brimstones, Commas or even Hairstreaks.

Shipston Home Nursing spokesperson Kate Bamford said: “In 2022, Richard raised over £2,000 for Shipston Home Nursing. We’re so grateful to him and hope the sun shines again on beautiful Blackberry Farm this July.”

To book a place call Richard Gray on 07977 587911.
