Businesses in Stratford district invited to have their say on the budget

BUSINESSES are being asked for their views on Stratford District Council’s budget.

SDC has a statutory duty to consult with businesses on the budget and the process of setting council tax levels.

And an invitation has been sent out to local businesses to attend the Business Forum/Non-Domestic Ratepayers’ Consultative Panel on Wednesday January 31 at 6pm at SDC’s headquarters in Church Street, Stratford.

The meeting will be chaired by SDC’s leader Coun Susan Juned and members of the Cabinet and other councillors will also be there.

The meeting is largely informal. It will include a presentation of SDC’s spending plans for the coming year and will also provide the opportunity for a discussion of any matter relevant to SDC’s services.

Any business that has not received an invitation but would like to attend the meeting should contact Tina Brain at SDC on 01789 260802 or email [email protected]
