HENLEY High Street has been closed as firefighters tackle a blaze at a fish and chip shop.
Crews from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue arrived at the scene this morning (Thursday) following reports of a fire at Seaspray fish and chip takeaway.
The smoke can be seen billowing down the road and cars are currently being diverted.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage is not yet known.
A spokesperson for Warwickshire Fire and Rescue said: “At 11.25 on May 11, Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to a fire at a commercial premises within a 3-storey building on Henley High Street.
“Four fire appliances and a turntable ladder are in attendance and crews are tackling the fire using breathing apparatus, a dry powder extinguisher and two hose reel jets. Warwickshire Police are assisting with traffic management. This incident is currently on-going.”
