A MODEL railway, bric-a-brac, duck racing and Native Americans are just some of the treats in store at Henley Fayre.

The fayre, organised by parishioners of St John’s Church, is set to be the town’s biggest ever.

There will be over 25 stalls selling toys, books, good as new clothes, cakes, jewellery and bric-a-brac.

A barbecue, pimms tent and other refreshments will be available, as well as traditional favourites such as face painting and a raffle.

The popular duck race will see 2,500 ducks race each other along the River Alne.

While this year, for the first time ever, there will be a Native American display and a large model railway.

The fayre takes place in and around the Church Hall in Beaudesert Lane on Bank Holiday Monday (August 29), between 12 noon and 4pm.

Admission is free and all proceeds go to church funds.
