MORE green projects in the district can apply for a funding boost.
Stratford District Council has made £150,000 available in round three of its Community Climate and Nature Fund.
And town and parish councils, community and charity groups and sports clubs can all apply for a slice of it.
Types of projects that are eligible for funding include physical interventions that generate renewable energy, reduce waste or reduce greenhouse gas emissions, community initiatives that promote greener lifestyles, projects which enhance biodiversity in an area, measures which provide adaptation to climate change, and research including feasibility studies.
SDC leader Coun Susan Juned said: “We want to provide support and funding for as many organisations and community groups as possible. I have been immensely impressed by the work done by organisations and communities on projects undertaken in previous rounds. We hope this new format will encourage more people to apply and secure successful funding for their projects.”
Applications for round three are now open and can be submitted until April 2026.
