PURITY Brewing Company has been named the best by The Good Pub Guide.
The Great Alne firm has been named Brewery of the Year for 2018 in the annual pub-come-travel guide.
The go-to drinker’s companion which has been listing and rating pubs around the country since 1982, has recently started including breweries.
Purity has been recognised for its dedication to consistent quality and values, brewing acclaimed beers, including Pure Gold, Mad Goose, Pure UBU, Lawless Lager and Longhorn IPA on a working farm in the stunning Warwickshire countryside.
The accolade comes hot on the heels of Purity’s director of brewing Flo Vialan being named ‘Brewer of the Year’ at the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group Beer Awards this summer.
The Good Pub Guide editor, Fiona Stapley, said: “Purity Brewing Company has been getting rave reviews from our trusted readers for its award-winning ales.
“The brewery is on a working farm in lovely Warwickshire countryside and apart from excellent beers, it’s the eco-friendly and energy-efficient brewing process that also appeals to us.”
Purity’s managing director Paul Halsey said the success was down to the whole workforce.
He added: “The Good Pub Guide is a very well renowned and respected part of British pub culture so we’re thrilled to be named best brewery.
“A huge thanks to the team behind the guide and to everyone at Purity who works hard to ensure we always deliver pure quality. And as always, the biggest thanks go to our customers, the people who make it all worthwhile”
