UNCLE Richard, a play first commissioned by Leicester Guildhall for the reinterment of King Richard III earlier this year, can be seen in Warwick and Stratford this week.
When King Richard III’s niece, Elizabeth, and her two sons, Arthur and Henry, decide to unravel the truth about the fate of her brothers – the princes in the tower – they discover that when it comes to Uncle Richard, no two tellings of the tale ever seem to be quite the same.
The play, penned by Emma Sian Cooper and presented by Tell Tale Thetare, is at Warwick Quaker Meeting House on Thursday (August 20) from 7.30pm, and at Shakespeare’s Birthplace in Stratford on Saturday August 22, at 3pm and
