Stratford Editorial 10th Jan, 2017 Updated: 10th Jan, 2017   0

A POST-apocalyptic re-imagining of Twelfth Night is coming to Stratford.

Civil Brawl Theatre Company – which was formed by Shakespeare Institute graduates Richard Nunn and Hannah Perrin – have worked with The View Restaurant to bring their version of Shakespeare to his hometown.

Stratford-based New Stuff Theatre Company Ltd are also collaborating with Civil Brawl on the project.

Twelfth Night is the comedy of unrequited love, deception, scheming servants, mistaken identity and the gods are manipulating characters in the post-apocalyptic setting. Live music will also feature.

All the cast are Midlands based and Stratford born musician and actor Ben Churm joins them in the roles of Curio, Fabian and Antonio.

Twelth Night will be performed at The View Restaurant from Thursday January 12 to 15 and January 17 to 21 from 7.30pm – a 2.30pm matinee will also feature on Sunday January 15.

Tickets cost £10 or £15 to include food at the restaurant before the show.
